Forget all that MINDSET and PHILOSOPHICAL sh!t I post…we all wanna know…. “How does all this RELATE to making MONEY!?”
And I am going to SHOW you.
So, if you’ve been following me or reading any of my blog post…..
….You know that I am always preaching about giving VALUE and becoming a RELIABLE source of information in your marketplace.
But how does this actually help me make MONEY?
Me and my sister (who is a Certified Fitness Trainer) started a Media Property (a blog on STEROIDS) called Mommies4Fitness.com.
And we were able to generate over $500 dollars in commissions recommending someone else’s product following these SIMPLE steps…
First, since we are in the weight loss industry, we started looking for a related weight loss product we could recommend to our fans.
Remember, we have been building VALUE and goodwill with our fans. Since we have been feeding them with USEFUL information on a consistent basis….
…We have now effectively established ourselves as an authority or expert.
They find VALUE in the content we publish and they will also find VALUE in products we recommend.
If you don’t have your own product or service for sale, thats ok.
There are literally thousands of affiliate programs you can join and get a commission every time someone buys a product you recommend through your blog.
For this case study, we chose Clickbank.com. Clickbank is one of the BIGGEST digital marketplaces on the net.
They pretty much sell DIGITAL books and online video courses on just about every subject you can think of!
So we went to the marketplace and found a product to promote. We selected a product called “The Venus Factor”. My sister actually purchased the program and said it was really good.
This made it 10x easier to recommend the product to our FANS. All we did was simply create a page on our blog talking about some of the benefits of the program.
The beautiful thing about MOST products on Clickbank is that they have Video Sales Letters on them. They invest thousands upon thousands testing different videos and sales pages to see which one converts the best.
So we don’t even have to SELL our fans on the product. We just need to get them over to the product owner’s PAGE and let them do ALL the selling.
You have to look at it just like recommending a friend to go check out the new Avengers movie. Of if you just tried a new restaurant and you posted on your Facebook page for your friends to check it out.
Later you get 2 or 3 comments from people THANKING YOU for recommending them the product.
This is the same way we want to CONDUCT our business. Like we are just recommending products amongst friends.
So we ran a Facebook ad, targeting our Fans, only recommending they check out the Venus Factor. We gave some bullet point explanation on how the product could help solve their PROBLEMS and bring VALUE into their lives.
We let the ad run for 24 hours…BAM made a smooth $536.46
